CLINIC STRUCTURE

In this clinic, we will break both movements down to their most basic components and build your Clean & Jerk from the ground up. Here are some details of what you will work on in each of the four classes:

Class 1

• Overhead Position
• Pressing Technique
• Front Squat Technique

Class 2 

• Jerk Dip & Drive, Split Position
• Clean Technique
• Hang Cleans, 2nd & 3rd pull focus

Class 3 

• Split Jerk Technique
• Hang Cleans, Clean from the floor

Class 4

• Split Jerk
• Clean & Jerk Technique

This clinic is designed for ALL skill levels, whether you are a beginner looking to build confidence in your lifts or you are more advanced/experienced and are looking to refine your technique. At the end of each phase, you’ll walk away better equipped with progressions, drills, and cues that you can focus on to help improve your Clean & Jerk. 

 

Classes will be 60 minutes in length and held on Fridays @ 5:15 pm!

Note: It is encouraged that you attend all 4 sessions to obtain the best learning experience.

ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING

In addition to the clinic, you will be given extra training specific to the drills that benefit you most during the clinic. You can use this to help supplement your training in class. Your extra programming will be accessible in SugarWOD through a private track!
