CFW is now using SugarWOD!

At CFW we are always looking for ways to bring our community together and help our members achieve their goals. To help us doing this even better, we are excited to announce that we will now be using SugarWOD, the #1 functional fitness app for athletes, coaches and affiliates (transitioning away from TrainHeroic).

 

What is SugarWOD?

It is a fun and interactive way to track your workouts and stay connected with other CFW members and coaches. All the CFW programming will be available on the app so tracking your workouts and journaling your results is even easier!

 

Why track my workouts?

So you can reach your goals!!

You may have heard the coaches talk about tracking your workouts, but have you ever wondered why it’s so important?

  • It helps you keep track of all your lifts – snatch, deadlift, clean and jerk, front squat, back squat, squat clean, thruster – that’s a lot to remember! By using the app to record your weights and reps, as well as any tips the coach gave you, you don’t have to remember for next time. The app will show you what you did last time!
  • It helps you measure progress – as you track your lifts, your workout times and your different movement progressions, you will be able to see how much you’re improving. This will keep you encouraged and remind you that your hard work is paying off!
  • It helps you to keep making progress – it’s easy to choose the same progressions out of habit. Tracking your workouts in the app can help you see that it’s time to mix it up!

 

How will SugarWOD keep me connected to the CFW Community?

You can record your score on the daily WOD leaderboard and compete in a fun and friendly way with all of CFW. We want all our members to stay connected. Our early morning crew can post their scores and inspire members coming for the rest of the day. We can also stay connected to our CFW members training at home. Even though you may not be at the gym at the same time, the SugarWOD app will bring the community together as we celebrate each other’s victories and inspire one another to keep up the hard work!

 

When should I join?

You can find us on SugarWOD starting Tuesday, October 12. That’s this week!!

How do I get started?

  1. Download SugarWOD here
  1. Sign up for an account (it’s free!) and select “CFW Health & Fitness (Official)” as your box

              *Use the access code: CFWaterloo (case sensitive)

  1. Start logging your workouts!
