CFW CrossFit Open Camp
Feb 5, 2022
For this year’s CrossFit Open, we want to prepare you to have your best competition experience to date! In this camp, Coach Yash will help you improve all the skills you’ll need to do better than ever!
Over these 4 weeks, you’ll work on
- barbell cycling
- gymnastics movements ( like toes-to-bar, pull-ups, muscle-ups)
- workout strategy & prep
- breathing
- managing discomfort & your mental game
With 10 years of experience competing in the Open, Coach Yash is excited to share his knowledge with you to maximize your success in the Open this year. Whether this is your first year or 10th year competing, you’ll walkway with new tools to help you in the Open and in your overall fitness.
If you’re new to CrossFit but a little intimidated by the Open, this camp is designed to help provide you with confidence and training so you can feel prepared and ready for anything the Open throws at you! You’ll be learning beginner to advanced progressions of skills like handstand push-ups, double-unders, muscle-ups and at the same time improving your fitness.
But this is not just for Beginners! All you Open veterans, this is for you too! Learning some new tools for how to strategize, pace, and control your breathing can help give you that competitive edge to maximize your scores in the Open workouts.
You will be given a customized 5 week training program to help you structure and practice what you’ve learned in the camp. The program will run through the weeks of camp and into the Open. This way you can train your skills along the way, increasing your preparedness for every Open workout!
